GoMooMoo is a private app for couples. We built it to collect as little as possible and to keep your information private to you and your partner. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We collect the following, and only to make the app work — never for tracking or advertising:
Email address — to create your account and sign you in with a one-time code. There is no password.
Photos or videos — only those you choose to add to your shared space.
Other user content — the notes and preferences you write (for example, what makes you feel loved) and your shared timeline entries.
User ID — an account identifier that links your content to your account and your couple.
Crash data and performance data — basic diagnostics to keep the app stable and fast.
How we use it
To operate core features: passwordless sign-in, private sharing between you and your partner, gentle suggestion ideas, and your shared timeline.
To generate personalized ideas, your content may be processed by an AI service solely to create suggestions; a suggestion is private to the partner it is created for.
To diagnose crashes and improve performance.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see your data
Your information is private to your couple. Access is enforced at the database level (row-level security), so only you and your partner can see your shared content, and personalized suggestions are visible only to the person they are created for.
We use trusted service providers to run the app: a cloud database and authentication provider (which securely stores your data), Apple Push Notification service (to deliver notifications — notification text never contains your private content), and an AI provider (to generate suggestion ideas). These providers process data only to provide the app and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Data retention and deletion
You can leave your couple or delete your account at any time. When you do, your associated content is deleted.
You can also email us to request deletion of your data.
Children
GoMooMoo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we will revise the date above.
